What I now know about consistent growth, clarity, and coaching success after stumbling my way through every phase of the LEVEL-UP journey.
There’s a version of me that honestly believed if I just bought one more course, one more template, one more “proven” system, I’d finally feel like things were working. I’d wake up one day with the perfect offer, clients pouring in, clarity dialed up to 10, and momentum carrying me forward like a well-oiled machine.
What actually happened?
I stayed stuck in a loop. A very expensive, emotionally exhausting loop.
Eventually, I stopped searching for the thing, and started looking at my things. What was working, what wasn’t, and where my energy was bleeding out.
I stopped looking for the magic bean and sought out support for not only the business me, but the whole me.
That’s when I began quietly shifting. Not overnight. Not in one glorious breakthrough moment. But in small, very real ways that changed how I ran my business, and how I felt in it.
Those shifts became my LEVEL-UP framework. Not really a checklist, but a lens. A way to spot what needs attention. A way to grow steadily and consistently. This is also what I teach and guide from in my mastermind.
Here’s what I’ve learned from living inside this for years, and why it still holds me steady, no matter what’s going on externally.
If you’re like most coaches, you’re trying to do your way out of a feeling.
You think you need a better strategy. Or more content. Or a different offer.
This is not to say that you never will or this is never the case, but usually…
… What’s really happening is that one part of your foundation is out of sync, and it’s throwing everything off.
Or you’re focusing solely on a different offer at the expense of all other areas of your business without knowing if that is really what’s needed.
Let me show you what I mean. Here’s what I now see when I look at my own business (and the ones I help grow):
List Growth: Without an audience to see your work, gain from your wisdom, and ultimately purchase… you really have nothing but a bunch of busy work or distractions.
Email Marketing: This is, at its core, about connection with the community you’re building through list growth and staying in the room with them.
Visibility: You think it’s about being everywhere. Nope. It’s about being clear about who you are, who your people are, what their struggle is, and getting in front of them regularly.
Energy: You think this is the “woo” part. It’s actually the fuel behind every result. No energy, no progress. Period. By the way, manifesting is leveraging your energy to create. It’s science … or woo, however you want to see it.
Lead to Sales: This all about your offers, your offer stack that is built to build capacity and the ease in which your community can make decisions and take actions to work with you. How easy can they buy from you?
Upgrade Skills: You think you don’t know enough. Truth is, you’re probably not applying what you already know. Can you identify what skills you need to gain and which ones you already have, so you’re not staying stuck in learning mode?
Practice Consistency: This is about showing up again and again, being reliable and building trust with your people. It’s honoring your wisdom and making a promise to yourself. Consistency is the magic bean.
I want to caution here that the point isn’t to master all 7 at once.
The point is to see which part is quietly asking for attention. And put your energy there. I always check in with “Energy” first then go from the top of the list down, checking in with each step.
Here’s what I know: Most of the time, when I felt stuck or overwhelmed, it wasn’t because I wasn’t doing enough. It was because one piece of the LEVEL-UP system was off and I didn’t know it. So my energy was being used up by things that weren’t moving me forward.
For example, I kept changing my offer over and over thinking that was the problem… when actually, I wasn’t growing my list. I didn’t have enough people to offer it to.
Another time, I was struggling to stay consistent. And I wasn’t getting any new clients or sales as a result. My energy was drained because I was trying to be everywhere without first being consistent in ONE place.
I now use LEVEL-UP as a kind of internal diagnostic tool. I don’t mean that in a clinical way. I mean I literally check in and ask:
Am I showing up with the kind of energy I want people to feel?
Am I creating connection, or just broadcasting content?
Do I feel clear on what I’m offering and who it’s for?
Do I need a skill upgrade, or just to apply the ones I already have?
Is my consistency rooted in sustainability or panic and fear or lack?
Knowing what to do next is how you generate momentum and when you can do that over and over again, efficiently, you give life to that momentum and it begins to create itself.
That means more engagement, conversations, sales, clients, and well… growth.
One of the most freeing things I ever realized was this:
You don’t need a massive breakthrough. You need a micro-win in the right place.
One week, I created a low-tier offer that I had sudden clarity (energy) on and got 3 sales that week.
Another time, I added a single line to my P.S. in an email, and someone booked a 1:1 session that led to a client.
Tiny moves. Real momentum.
That’s how LEVEL-UP works in real life. Especially if you’re a solo coach trying to build something meaningful without a full team or unlimited time. It gives you a place to look when things feel off… and a way to come back into alignment with what actually moves the needle.
Ask yourself this:
Is my energy solid?
If not, find out what’s draining it. Rest and refill.
Then start at the top of the list.
Don’t look at the 7-steps and pick which one you think you “should” be working on. There in this order for a reason. For example, if you’re not actively growing your list, your emails aren’t going to get enough new eyes, your offers will have been seen already.
It’s your list growth and email marketing that is going to generate MOST of your sales and new clients.
That’s your starting point.
You don’t need to overhaul your business. You just need to know where to look. And have a framework to always lean on and keep you centered in growth.
When you have this you control your growth. Gently. Powerfully. Sustainably.
That’s how we LEVEL-UP around here.
