You’ve been plugging away at building your coaching business, but let’s be real, it feels like no one’s noticing.
It’s like tossing a message in a bottle into the ocean and hoping someone… anyone finds it.
You’re dreaming of a business where your unique gifts stand out, clients line up to work with you, and you finally make the impact you want to make.
(Well, that’s what I dream of.)
You scroll through social media, and you’re like, “Is everyone a coach now?!”
(Seriously, did the entire world get certified while you weren’t looking?)
And there’s this sinking thought in the back of your mind: Why would anyone choose me when there are hundreds of other people doing the same thing?
Or maybe you catch yourself thinking, “What if the way I do things is just too … woo-woo.”
Then you question whether you’re “professional” enough and the rabbit hole of self-doubt swallows you.
These thoughts are downright exhausting!
It’s just mental chatter, noise.
The real issue isn’t that you’re not good enough, professional enough, or creative enough. It’s that you haven’t fully uncovered and leaned into your Unique Method.
This is what makes you the perfect coach for certain people. (Remember this, we’ll come back to it.)
I get it. Starting as a new coach in a literal sea of coaches can feel discouraging.
You’re pouring a lot of energy into this work. You know you’re here to make a difference, but instead of connecting with the clients who need you most, it feels like your efforts are… well, pointless.
(Where do all those social media posts go, anyway? Is there a vortex?)
I’ve been in that exact spot, knowing I had something powerful to offer but struggling to convey it. It took me longer than I’d like to admit to figure out what truly made me different… and then actually own it.
I’ll never forget the moment it all clicked: the realization that I didn’t have to compete with everyone else. I could just be me. And speak to “certain people”. Here’s what finally made the shift...
I identified my Unique Method (what makes me different).
I created an offer that spoke directly to the “certain” people I was meant to serve.
And I aligned everything: my messaging, my energy, and my business with who I truly am.
It created immense clarity.
Think of it like this: There can be thousands of coaches, and it won’t matter because each one is a match for specific people.
It’s like every coach is broadcasting on their own, unique radio station. Only the people tuned into your frequency will hear you. Your job? Figure out your station and keep transmitting loud and clear.
What does your station sound like? Take a moment to think about the unique message only you can broadcast.
When you do this, you don’t have to worry about all the other coaches out there. (Whew!)
Now, every time you put your message out there, it resonates so deeply with your ideal clients that they feel like you’re speaking directly to them. They see your content and immediately relate.
Your Unique Method is what makes you the perfect fit for the right people, and when you tap into that, everything clicks.
Instead of feeling like you’re getting buried in a saturated market, you’re confidently sharing exactly what makes you different, finally broadcasting on your perfect radio station. (And spoiler: your people will tune in.)
Join “those” coaches who attract their clients by leaning into what makes them different. (The top 5%) and step away from the “struggling” coach persona.
Congrats on being here by the way. Reading this now means you’re one step closer to solving the “not getting noticed” problem in your coaching business.
You get to choose to learn and uplevel your marketing expertise, so you can own your space, your voice, and your process. You can grow your coaching business in a way that feels easy, natural, and effective.
Because when what you put “out there” reflects your Unique Method, the right people can’t help but notice.
Here’s what happens when you stop getting lost in a steadily filling market and start owning your Unique Method:
Stand out effortlessly so you don’t have to try so hard to attract clients.
Attract clients who are your people, so they’re always a fit for the work you do.
Create a business that feels simple to grow. (Feel that? That’s relief.)
Get noticed for what makes you “you” and create a business that fits into your life.
So how do you identify your Unique Method?
Start by reflecting on these 3 unique-to-you elements:
Skills
Passions
Gifts
When you understand the specific strengths, passions, and gifts you already bring to the table and how they combine in a way only you can offer, you stand apart.
Why does this matter so much?
Because your potential clients are looking for results, of course.
But they’re also looking for a process and a person they connect with.
When people relate to your method, it creates an instant connection and builds trust. People feel that you’re speaking directly to them and that your approach is exactly what they need.
Think of your Unique Method as your personal coaching fingerprint. It’s entirely yours, and no one else can duplicate it.
When you uncover this and build it into your messaging, you stop feeling like you have to compete with every other coach out there.
Instead, you attract the people who are naturally drawn to what you offer, in the way only you can offer it.
It’s so important that you be able to build your coaching business around who you are. And do so in a way that supports every aspect of you: your mind, your energy, and your marketing.
It’s a holistic approach to success, one that honors the whole person behind the business.
Having said that, I know you have doubts, so let’s have them.
Right now, I’m not feeling very unique. What if I don’t have a Unique Method?
Everyone has a unique method. Just like everyone has a unique fingerprint. It’s just a matter of uncovering it. Your unique combination of strengths, passions, and gifts is already there, waiting to be discovered.
There are so many coaches out there. Can I really stand out?
Yes! But understand this first: You don’t need to appeal to everyone, just “certain” people (aka the right people for you). When you lean into what makes you different, you naturally resonate with those who are a perfect match for your style and approach.
You’re not competing for everyone’s attention, just the clients who align with you.
My approach is a little… out there. What if it’s too unconventional?
That’s a good thing! Clients are drawn to authenticity and uniqueness.
It’s often the unconventional methods that stand out and create lasting transformations.
I can’t quite put my finger on what makes me different. How do I explain it to others?
That’s the beauty of exploring your Unique Method. Once you understand it, you’ll have clarity and confidence in communicating what sets you apart.
It may take a little time, but it’s worth it.
Here’s the thing: your Unique Method is already within you. You’re tapping into what’s already there and letting it lead your marketing.
You don’t have to feel lost in the crowd anymore. When you uncover and lean into your Unique Method, everything changes. Your message becomes clear, your confidence grows, and the right clients start to find you.
It’s your time to step into the space where you’re no longer just another coach in a crowded market.
You’re THE coach for the clients who are waiting for someone exactly like you.
When you notice a “successful” coach who is confidently sharing their message and attracting great clients over and over again, they’ve probably identified their Unique-ness.
They’ve leaned into what makes them different and used it to create a business that feels natural, fulfilling, and truly magnetic.
The fact that you’re here, reading this, means that you too, are ahead of the game. You’re taking the time to reflect, to learn, and to grow, and that’s something a lot of coaches don’t do enough of.
So, take a moment and give yourself credit for showing up and doing the work. (Gold star earned!)
This is entirely in your hands. Those successful coaches who’ve leaned into their Unique Method didn’t get there by luck. They decided to uncover what sets them apart.
You have the same ability. You now have the insight to guide you. And you get to decide how to use it to create your success.
